EmbeddedGPS1000 is a reprogrammable open frame GPS tracker
and miniaturized, with RTC, SD Card and Accelerometer peripherals; which
combines GPS technology with GSM technology, supports Bluetooth connectivity
and Serial.  The operation of the device, with standard software, revolves
around SMS, which is used to receive location information
and to control all the functions of the locator. Inside, in fact, it is
possible to house a SIM card that will respond, again via SMS, to the
commands sent. Alternatively, a GPRS connection can be used.
